We are currently seeking a professional to join our team in the role of: Senior Manager, Global Corporates Marketing, Corporate and Institutional Banking.

Role purpose:
We are seeking a dynamic and commercially focused Global Marketing Lead to spearhead our marketing initiatives targeting Global Corporates within Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB). This role is essential for driving revenue growth, enhancing client engagement, and strengthening the bank’s presence among multinational corporates.
Drawing on your banking experience, you will collaborate with Coverage, Sector Coverage, Strategy, Product and Marketing teams to lead the execution of marketing strategies designed to strengthen and deepen client relationships, originate new deals, increase market share. This role is ideal for a marketing professional enthusiastic about aligning industry expertise with client needs to drive commercial success.
In this role you will:
Commercial Strategy & Growth Marketing:
- Lead the global marketing strategy for Global Corporate clients, aligning with commercial growth objectives. Identify and prioritize marketing opportunities within the segment
- Shape and assist in executing marketing programs that drive client acquisition, strengthen and deepen client relationships, originate new deals and increase market share
Segment & Sector Positioning:
- Develop clear and distinct value propositions that address segment and industry specific challenges
- Collaborate with Product & Business Marketing to ensure solutions meet client needs
- Build tailored narratives that combine market insights, relevant current themes (e.g. digitalization) and the bank’s expertise
Campaigns, Content & Projects:
- Lead the strategy and ideation of integrated marketing campaigns that enhance brand awareness and client engagement, and partner with cross-functional teams including Marketing Services to deliver impact
- Develop a content strategy and drive ongoing management to ensure relevance for the segment including thought leadership pieces, digital content and client success stories to support marketing objectives
- Partner with Events teams and the business on events strategy for the audience, and the delivery of strategic client forums and executive briefings that highlight segment and sector leadership
Performance & Insights:
- Track and analyse performance metrics related to brand, client engagement, pipeline influence, revenue and campaign effectiveness.
Utilize data insights to refine marketing strategies continuously - Passionately advocate for client perspectives in marketing and go-to-market activities
Leadership & Teamwork:
- Direct cross-functional teams, ensuring cohesive marketing effort across various areas and regions
- Potentially line manage a Marketing Manager, driving performance and excellence
- Drive strong collaboration across all business lines and segments
- Partner closely with Coverage, Sector Coverage, Product Marketing, Communications and Strategy teams as well as other marketing teams
- Serve as an advisor to internal stakeholders on go-to-market strategy, client engagement, and market positioning
- Promote Agile Principles and foster a collaborative working environment that reflects HSBC’s values
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Extensive B2B marketing experience, with a focus on commercial marketing within global banking or financial services, and/or experience preferably in corporate coverage.
- Strong understanding of CIB segments, products and services.
- Passionate about customer centricity and the latest market trends.
- Proven ability to translate client and market insights into effective marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills within global, matrixed organisations.
