Account Executive Large Enterprise
Colt provides network, voice and data centre services to thousands of businesses around the world, allowing them to focus on delivering their business goals instead of the underlying infrastructure.
Why we need this role
As a Global Enterprise Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving growth and strategic customer engagement across a portfolio of 6-8 large multinational enterprise customers. Operating as the executive owner of these relationships, you will develop and execute global account strategies that align Colt's solutions with customers' international business priorities.
This is a growth-focused role with responsibility for achieving revenue targets through customer retention, cross-sell and upsell opportunities across Colt's full portfolio. Success requires building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, identifying new opportunities across global business units, and coordinating internal teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
What you will do
Own and develop a portfolio of 6-8 strategic global enterprise customers, serving as the primary commercial relationship lead.
Create and execute multi-year global account plans focused on revenue growth, customer retention, and strategic expansion.
Achieve and exceed annual revenue, cross-sell and upsell targets across assigned accounts.
Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key stakeholders across multiple geographies, business units and functions.
Identify and drive new business opportunities by aligning Colt's solutions to customers' evolving global connectivity, cloud, security and digital transformation requirements.
Coordinate internal resources across sales, solution engineering, service delivery and product teams to execute account strategies.
Lead complex commercial negotiations, contract renewals and global framework agreements.
Develop a deep understanding of customer business objectives, industry trends and competitive dynamics to position Colt as a strategic partner.
Leverage customer insights and data to identify growth opportunities, mitigate risks and strengthen long-term account value.
Accurately forecast revenue performance and maintain account plans, pipelines and opportunities within CRM systems.
What we're looking for
Significant B2B enterprise sales experience, ideally within telecommunications, digital infrastructure, networking, cloud, managed services, IT services or SaaS.
Proven success managing and growing a portfolio of large global enterprise accounts with responsibility for revenue growth and retention.
Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding quota through cross-sell, upsell and strategic account development.
Experience navigating complex multinational organisations and building relationships with executive and C-suite stakeholders.
Strong commercial acumen with experience leading large, strategic opportunities and contract negotiations.
Ability to develop and execute global account strategies across multiple regions and stakeholder groups.
Strong consultative selling skills and familiarity with methodologies such as MEDDPICC, Challenger, SPIN or similar.
Experience working within matrixed, international organisations and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver customer outcomes.
Highly motivated, customer-focused and able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
