Nanny-Housekeeper

a warm and welcoming family based in Hampstead, are seeking a highly organised, proactive and caring nanny housekeeper to support them two days per week. They have two children, a boy aged five and a girl aged three, both of whom attend school and nursery. The family are looking for a candidate with the right attitude, someone who is able to see what needs to be done and takes initiative, while bringing kindness, reliability and a calm, positive presence to the home.

During school hours, the nanny housekeeper will focus on household tasks, including maintaining a tidy and organised environment, ensuring the kitchen is in order, managing laundry, undertaking general household organisation and preparing food. From school pick up onwards, the role centres on providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for the children, engaging them in age-appropriate activities, preparing snacks and meals, supporting bathtime and helping with the evening routine for when the mother comes home at 6PM.

The family follow a structured approach to parenting, combined with plenty of warmth, love and fun, and they are seeking someone who shares these values. The ideal candidate will be experienced with children of this age group, able to balance the dual responsibilities of childcare and housekeeping, and confident in creating a nurturing and well-organised home life. A minimum of five years’ experience is required, along with fluency in English.

The position is live-out and does not require driving. Hours are 10am to 7pm on either Tuesday and Thursday, or Tuesday and Wednesday. The start date is the 3rd of November 2025, with some flexibility.

Requirements

Longevity in previous nanny jobs.
Up to date Enhanced DBS (you can apply through Kinder Nannies & Staff)
Recent Paediatric First Aid certificate
Right to work in UK (& already living in the UK)
Good references for recent and relevant nanny work
Able to run after small children
