AWS Cloud Architect

Introduction

Wipro is looking for an AWS Cloud Architect to join our cloud and digital engineering teams. As an AWS Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing and enabling cloud-native solutions that support application modernisation and large-scale cloud transformation. You will work closely with engineering teams, architects, and stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient solutions on AWS.

Your Responsibilities

• Design and deliver cloud-native architectures using AWS services across compute, storage, networking, security, and identity
• Lead migration of legacy applications to AWS, including refactoring and re-architecting for scalability, resilience, and cost optimisation
• Define and implement microservices-based and containerised architectures
• Enable CI/CD, DevOps practices, and agile delivery models
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align cloud solutions with business objectives

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and cloud architecture patterns
• Solid understanding of Java / J2EE full-stack technologies
• Experience with microservices, containers, and API management solutions
• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures, including serverless and platform-based solutions
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Desirable Skills

• Single Page Architecture (SPA) and JavaScript frameworks such as Angular
• DevOps tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and automation practices
• Exposure to emerging technologies such as IoT, Blockchain, event processing, or cognitive solutions
