This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in education, youth work, or family support who is looking to play a vital role in improving attendance, safeguarding, and student welfare.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, track, and analyse student attendance data.
  • Work closely with students, parents, and staff to identify and overcome barriers to attendance.
  • Conduct home visits and liaise with external agencies when required.
  • Support safeguarding procedures and pastoral care initiatives.
  • Promote positive engagement and wellbeing across the school community.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience working with young people or families in an educational or welfare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive and compassionate approach to supporting students and families.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage sensitive information.
  • Knowledge of attendance legislation and safeguarding practices is desirable.
