What we need…
We’re looking for a detail-focused QA Tester to join our Product and Engineering teams in London. You’ll play a key role in delivering reliable, high-quality releases that drive YOOBIC’s performance. Working closely with our frontend and backend developers, product managers, designers, and teams across the globe, you’ll test new features, validate story tickets, and raise issues early to support a shift-left approach that keeps quality strong throughout each sprint.
You’ll take ownership of manual testing in Zephyr, contribute to converting test cases into automated scripts, and support our CI/CD pipelines, primarily to ensure automated tests run smoothly and consistently. You’ll also perform network and performance checks across environments and help expand our coverage with smoke tests, regression suites, and backend testing support.
What you'll do…
Create, maintain, and execute manual test cases in Zephyr (JIRA integration) to ensure high-quality releases.
Participate in daily squad/stand-up meetings (Zoom) to support sprint planning, progress updates, and retrospective discussions.
Raise, investigate, and track bug tickets in JIRA, collaborating closely with developers to verify fixes and perform retesting.
Validate story (implementation) tickets to ensure new features meet requirements and fully align with acceptance criteria.
Adopt a Shift-Left testing mindset, collaborating early with developers and product to identify risks and incorporate quality from the start of the sprint.
Work alongside the Frontend team to transform manual test cases (from Zephyr) into automated scripts using Cucumber/Gherkin/Playwright.
Support CI/CD pipelines by contributing to automated test suites, improving test coverage, and ensuring stable deployments.
Run network and performance tests in production and customer environments, escalating issues and coordinating with the Backend team when needed.
Perform a range of additional testing activities, including smoke testing, visual regression testing, and support for backend testing.
What you have...
A strong willingness to learn and grow.
A solid understanding of software testing principles and best practices.
Good knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Shift-Left testing approaches.
Awareness of CI/CD processes and how testing fits into continuous delivery.
