Senior Software Engineer
Responsibilities
- Develop high-performance Python backend services for ingesting, processing, and distributing real-time sensor data.
- Build and evolve TypeScript and React web applications used by operators to monitor missions and investigate sensor data.
- Design secure, scalable Azure services for distributed radar systems.
- Define infrastructure as code and instrumentation for owned systems.
- Influence platform architecture and make decisions supporting scale, new capabilities, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, systems, and field teams while taking ownership of production services.
Requirements
- Right to work in the UK.
- Willingness to travel and co-locate with the San Francisco team for approximately one week each quarter.
- Interest in scalable backend systems, distributed systems, real-time data challenges, reliability, security, and scalability.
- Strong engineering fundamentals, curiosity, adaptability, and collaborative communication skills.
