Nanny
Location: Notting Hill, London
Care for: G10, G9 & G6
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:15am–6:15pm
Salary: Up to £70,000 gross per annum (depending on experience)
Start Date: Negotiable A warm family based in Notting Hill are seeking an experienced, highly organised and capable Full-Time Nanny to take full charge of their three children, aged 10, 9 and 6.
This is a busy and varied role ideally suited to someone who genuinely enjoys working with school-age children and is confident managing the logistics of three different schedules across two schools, alongside a full programme of activities, appointments and after-school commitments. The family employ a full-time live-in Housekeeper and Cook, so there are no cleaning or cooking responsibilities within the position. The Nanny’s focus will be entirely on the children: overseeing their day-to-day routines, supporting their development, managing school and activity schedules, coordinating pick-ups and drop-offs, and ensuring everything runs smoothly and calmly. One of the children has additional needs; however, previous special needs experience is not essential. More importantly, the family are looking for someone exceptionally kind, loving and patient who remains calm under pressure and can confidently navigate the natural busyness of a household with three children. A teaching or educational background could be particularly beneficial. Organisation will be a key part of the role. The children attend two different schools and have varied extracurricular schedules, with several people occasionally involved in collections and activities, so the successful candidate will be an excellent communicator who is proactive, detail-oriented and comfortable taking ownership of a busy family diary. The family also have a five-month-old Cavapoo, so they would love someone who enjoys dogs and is happy to help with him during the day where needed, including occasional vet appointments. A full UK driving licence and confidence driving in London are essential, with a family car provided for use during working hours. The standard schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:15am–6:15pm, although there is often the opportunity for an earlier finish on Fridays when the family travel to the countryside. The family are looking for someone warm, reliable and exceptionally organised who can become a trusted part of their household and provide a calm, consistent presence for the children.
