A Key Role Within the School Leadership Team
A thriving primary school in Greenwich is looking for an experienced School Business Manager to oversee the financial, administrative and operational side of the school.
You'll work closely with the Headteacher, Governors and staff to make sure the school remains financially well managed, compliant and fully resourced.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Managing the school's budget and financial planning
Monitoring income, expenditure and purchasing
Preparing financial reports for SLT and Governors
Overseeing payroll and HR administration
Managing contracts and external suppliers
Coordinating premises and facilities
Leading health & safety and compliance
Supporting recruitment and staff administration
Managing the school office and support functions
Coordinating audits and statutory returns
About You
Previous School Business Manager or senior school finance experience is essential.
You'll be confident with budgets and financial systems, highly organised and able to build strong relationships with staff, Governors and external suppliers.
Experience with FMS, PS Financials, SIMS, Arbor or similar systems would be advantageous.
