About the Opportunity:

We are hiring a Commercial Project Manager to help drive Geomiq’s high-value manufacturing opportunities from discovery through to purchase order.

This role works with our commercial, supply, and quoting teams. You will bring structure, detail, and process discipline to complex opportunities, ensuring the right information is gathered, risks are assessed, and deals move forward quickly.

You will work across CNC machining, injection moulding, sheet metal, fabrication, and 3D printing, supporting high-value opportunities where scope, cost inputs, supplier readiness, customer requirements, and commercial judgment all matter.

This role is suited to someone who can manage complexity, improve processes, support commercial decisions, and keep cross-functional teams aligned.

Main responsibilities:
  • High-Value Deal Ownership

    • Drive high-value manufacturing opportunities from discovery through PO

    • Keep ownership, risks, timelines, and next steps clear

    • Coordinate commercial, supply, quoting, and operations input

    • Ensure opportunities move quickly with accurate information

  • Scope Definition & Manufacturing Readiness

    • Define customer problems, requirements, and success criteria

    • Gather key inputs including CAD, materials, tolerances, volumes, finishes, and quality needs

    • Turn customer requirements into clear scopes, cost inputs, lead times, and risks

    • Identify missing information before quoting or supplier commitment

  • Process, Risk & Opportunity Management

    • Assess commercial, supplier, quality, delivery, and execution risk

    • Improve the process for moving complex opportunities from discovery to quote

    • Identify blockers early and drive the right actions across teams

    • Prioritise work that impacts revenue, margin, and customer confidence

  • Commercial Judgment & Execution Discipline

    • Support sales negotiation with clear scope, cost, and risk information

    • Balance customer needs with price, margin, quality, speed, and supplier capability

    • Know when enough detail is in place to move the deal forward

    • Keep HubSpot, deal scopes, forecasts, and technical details accurate

Experience Required:
  • 4+ years in project management, commercial operations, manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, or technical delivery

  • Experience working with manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or technical B2B teams

  • Strong process management skills, with the ability to bring structure to complex work

  • Comfortable working across sales, supply, quoting, operations, quality, and customers

  • Able to assess risk, manage detail, and push work forward without needing constant direction

  • Commercially sharp, with good judgment around cost, margin, timing, quality, and delivery risk

  • Strong communicator who can translate unclear requirements into clear actions

  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and disciplined with systems, documentation, and follow-through

Benefits:
  • Competitive Salary: We offer pay that reflects your skills and the value you bring.

  • Stocked Kitchen: Enjoy snacks, fresh fruit, and drinks all day.

  • 23 Days Annual Leave: Recharge with 23 days off, plus bank holidays.

  • Birthday Off: Take an extra day to celebrate your birthday.

  • Pet-Friendly Office: Bring your dog to our pet-friendly workspace.

  • Team Events: Connect with colleagues through monthly team-building activities.

  • Career Growth: Benefit from our focus on internal promotions and development.
