An opportunity for a warm, confident and knowledgeable Daily Nanny to join a family in King's Cross, London, providing long-term care for their young baby boy.

Job Summary
A lovely family based near King's Cross are looking for a dedicated Daily Nanny to care for their baby boy, who will be approximately three and a half months old when the role begins. This is a permanent position, with the family hoping to find someone who will become a valued part of their household for at least the next two years. Both parents have busy professional lives, with Mum occasionally working from home and Dad travelling regularly for work. The role will be predominantly sole charge, although the parents are keen to work closely with their nanny and would welcome someone who can confidently guide them through the different stages of their baby's development. The family currently have maternity nurse support and are looking for someone who can provide continuity as their baby grows. The ideal candidate will be warm, calm, reliable and confident with young babies, particularly feeding, sleep routines and developmental milestones. The family are open to both experienced nannies and suitably qualified candidates earlier in their careers, provided they can demonstrate excellent infant knowledge and the confidence to take responsibility for a young baby. Occasional additional babysitting or overnight care may be required. The household also employs a cleaner and has no pets.

Job Specification
• Provide attentive daily care for the baby.
• Manage feeding, naps and age-appropriate routines.
• Encourage developmental milestones through play and activities.
• Plan suitable outings, classes and activities.
• Prepare meals and manage weaning as appropriate.
• Maintain the baby's nursery, clothing and belongings.
• Work collaboratively with parents, offering guidance when needed.
• Provide occasional additional babysitting or overnight care by arrangement.

Candidate Specification
• Strong experience and confidence caring for young babies.
• Relevant childcare qualifications welcomed.
• Excellent knowledge of feeding, sleep and infant development.
• Warm, calm, reliable and nurturing.
• Confident working independently in a predominantly sole-charge role.
• Fluent English essential; French or German advantageous.
• Driver advantageous but not essential.
• Seeking a long-term position, ideally for at least two years.
