Asset Surveyor

Hackney – London

£53,709 - £56,536 per year Plus Company car or Car Buy Out

40 hours per week - 8:00am to 17:00pm - Monday to Friday

We are looking for two Asset Surveyors to join our growing team, based in our Kingsmead Office in London, to provide support to the business for Asset project management, Disrepairs and other associated works. You would manage your Disrepair caseload effectively and within set timelines, by assessing works required, scoping and working with the contractor to deliver on time, managing EPA notice actions, investigating insurance claims and undertaking stock condition surveys. You would also be required to ensure H&S compliance at all times.

The role of Asset Surveyor will include:

• Undertake stock condition surveys and other property inspections, and manage relating works
• Involvement in disrepair cases, complaints, permission requests, repairs monitoring and other property related queries
• Produce reports and documentation for work specifications and tenders
• Coordinate, communicate and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Skills and experiences:

• To ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to Degree, HND or HNC in Surveying or currently undertaking the qualification. As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to bring with them the original certification verifying proof of their qualifications. Copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted.
• Must have great communication and customer facing skills.
• Experience in Social Housing environment and Disrepair claim process
• This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
