Senior Network Engineer

Opticore IT are currently searching for a Senior Network Engineer to maintain and support the current state multi-vendor network estate and deliver updates and upgrades as they arise. This opportunity is joining an internationtal law firm client based in the office 2 days a week in central London

Opticore IT is a specialist Network Engineer and Project Management consultancy offering a wide variety of opportunities to work within fast-paced, challenging environments across our client base spanning multiple sectors including Finance, Broadcast Media, Telecommunications and more.

What you'll be doing:

• Deliver on projects against the evolving priorities

• Hands-on support and maintenance of a multi-vendor estate spanning across:

  • Cisco Catalyst 9300 series and Nexus switching.

  • The firewall estate, primarily FortiGate

  • Palo Alto Prisma Access

  • Cisco Wirelss LAN Controllers

  • VeloCloud SDWAN

What you'll bring:

• Core networking fundamentals across Layer 2 and Layer 3, including routing protocols BGP and OSPF

• Cisco Catalyst 9300 series and Nexus switching

• Palo Alto Prisma Access

• FortiGate firewalls

• Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers and VeloCloud SD-WAN
