Senior Paid Search Specialist

About the role
As a Senior Paid Search Specialist, you will take full ownership of our global paid search accounts, including Shopping ads. You will be responsible for the full spectrum of paid-search related activities, from designing market-specific strategies, to implementation and optimisation. Operating within a hyper-growth environment, you will be a key player in driving new customer acquisition and revenue growth. This role is perfect for sharp and driven paid search expert looking to take on a challenge. As a Senior Paid Search Specialist you will
- Oversee and advise on building paid search and shopping campaigns, including but not limited to campaign structure, ads, keywords, ad extensions, tracking, etc.
- Manage, implement, and optimise our global accounts on a day-to-day basis (incl. feed optimisation).
- Manage the budget and P&L for our paid search and shopping ads making sure channel maintains strong ROAS; responsible for ad spend pacing, liaising with trade teams and wider industry trends to make the most of opportunities
- You will monitor the Paid Search Testing roadmap, helping to drive optimisation initiatives, liaising with wider teams, ensuring correct prioritising, recourses and planning is in place
- Plan and implement any changes to support product/event launches and BAU activities.
- Lead campaign analysis, reporting, and communication of KPIs – ad hoc, daily, weekly and monthly. QA with the team to deliver actionable insights
- Contribute to the Global Paid Search Strategy for Charlotte Tilbury, establish yourself as an expert and go-to person for all things Paid Search
- You will be a key stake holder in the wider Performance Marketing Team, you will be required to develop relationships across the organization, share ideas and work collaboratively to reach shared goals.
- Challenge and work closely with external vendors and key partners (e.g. feed provider, account representatives) to ensure optimal performance.
- Identify any missing links and opportunities within the customer journey and find ways to fill these gaps within your channels.
- Support the development of automated reporting and/or processes with the explicit aims to improve efficiency and account performance.
- Support the development of the global paid search strategy, which contributes toward the global acquisition strategy.
- Work cross-functionally (e.g. with SEO, CRM, E-commerce, and other Performance teams) to drive customer growth, activation and retention.
- Research into market trends, keep abreast of the latest marketing/ biddable technologies and provide use-case suggestions to help improve KPIs.
Who you will work with
- You will report directly to the Head of Performance and Biddable, work closely with the rest of paid search team and the wider digital team.
About you
- Proven track record of working in Paid Search, preferably from a high-growth company or agency with measurable results.
- Keep abreast of industry developments, bringing new ideas and ways of working to the table
- You have 5 to 7 years’ experience in a Management Position and are looking to step up.
- You must be commercially driven with an eye for detail and a focus analysis.
- You have experience in large scale Paid Search Strategies in competitive industries with proven track record of managing multimillion budgets
- Advanced knowledge of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Looker SA360 and other tracking tools like SEMRush, Google Trends
- Ability to organise priorities, meet deadlines, confidently lead your team and work independently.
- Strong attention to detail - near perfect grammar and strong editing skills.
- An excellent understanding of measuring the impact of Paid Search, tracking KPIs, and deriving insight to form actions;
- Excellent analytical skills, with a forensic understanding of account performance, and high proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex channel level observations into actionable insights.
- A people person who can work independently and collaboratively with various stakeholders internally and externally.
- Ability to perform under pressure, tolerance for ambiguity, and readiness to adapt to changing priorities dynamically.
- A flexible self-starter with a can-do attitude, willing to go the extra mile to deliver results.
