Your new role
This is a senior FP&A contract role within a central finance function covering financial reporting, planning and analysis, investment accounting, procurement, systems and valuations.
The role will lead on monthly operating expense reporting, forecasting and budgeting, alongside delivering high-quality commercial insight to the CFO and Executive Committee. A key focus will be supporting improvements to reporting and analysis as the organisation implements a restructured general ledger and standardised chart of accounts across its entities.
Key responsibilities include:

• Ownership of monthly operating expense reporting (actuals and forecast), delivered to tight deadlines
• Preparation of management information for quarterly management and Board reporting
• Providing commercial insight and analysis to support executive decision-making
• Leading the annual forecast and budget process, coordinating inputs across stakeholders
• Reviewing and improving FP&A processes and reports in line with a new chart of accounts and enhanced reporting tools
• Line management and development of an FP&A executive
• Delivery of ad-hoc analysis for senior finance and executive stakeholders
• Ensuring accurate and timely responses to external data requests and information requirements
• Building strong partnerships across finance to ensure joined-up, consistent reporting

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a qualified accountant with significant FP&A experience gained within a financial services environment such as investment management, private equity or banking, ideally within a larger and well-structured organisation.
You will bring:

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive change in a complex environment
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present financial insights clearly to senior stakeholders
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability
• Experience of investment and performance analysis
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Confidence working with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation

Experience with Infor SunSystems, Infor Q&A or eFront would be advantageous but is not essential.A genuine interest in development, sustainability or social impact objectives is strongly preferred.
