Associate Architect
A top-tier and award-winning practice renowned for its creative design flair and hands-on expertise in residential architecture is seeking an Associate Architect. With a focus on bespoke new builds and period refurbishments, this is your chance to contribute to breathtaking residential, as well as select commercial, cultural, education, hospitality, and urban design projects in London.
About the Practice: This celebrated practice eschews large-scale developments in favor of crafting inspiring, well-considered residential spaces. Known for its impeccable blend of practical know-how and creative artistry, the firm continuously sets new benchmarks in the industry. Here, design excellence meets a collaborative, innovative culture that values both creativity and technical precision.
Role Overview: As an Associate Architect, you will play a key role in shaping high-quality residential projects that stand out in London’s competitive architectural landscape. Working closely with senior team members, you will be involved from initial concept designs through to detailed project delivery, ensuring that every design reflects the firm’s distinctive creative approach.
Your primary responsibilities will include: • Collaborating with project leads and senior architects to develop design concepts for bespoke new build and period refurbishment projects. • Producing detailed drawings and supporting project documentation while ensuring design integrity and compliance with regulations. • Managing client presentations and engaging in constructive feedback sessions to drive continuous improvement. • Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to harmonize creative visions with practical, buildable solutions. • Contributing innovative ideas to elevate the firm’s outstanding reputation in residential design.
Required Qualifications and Skills: • A strong academic background in architecture along with relevant professional experience. • Demonstrated proficiency in architectural design, with an emphasis on residential projects. • Exceptional technical skills and a keen eye for detail, ensuring high-quality deliverables. • Robust collaboration and communication skills, enabling effective teamwork and client engagement. • Although specific software details are not provided, proficiency in industry-standard architectural software is expected.
Benefits and Opportunities: • Competitive annual salary package between £55,000 – £70,000. • An inspiring work environment within a highly respectful and creative team. • Opportunity to work on award-winning projects that uniquely blend traditional and modern design. • Access to professional development and continuous learning initiatives. • A flexible working approach for a healthy work-life balance.
If you’re ready to take your career to new heights by working on visionary residential projects and contributing to a legacy of design excellence, we want to hear from you.
