IT Commercial Lead
We're looking for an IT Commercial Lead for a central government department based in London or Leeds (hybrid) on an initial 6 months contract, paying up to £750 per day (Inside IR35).
This is a hybrid role with an expectation to attend the office 2 to 3 days a week, so you'll need to be within commutable distance. The successful IT Commercial Lead will run end-to-end commercial activity across a digital and technology portfolio, from sourcing strategy and market engagement through award, mobilisation, contract management and exit. You'll provide practical commercial advice and assurance, lead negotiations and resolve issues alongside legal, finance and delivery teams, and manage a prioritised pipeline against clear milestones and risks. You'll also provide day-to-day leadership and quality assurance to commercial colleagues and present options and recommendations at governance forums. You will need proven experience working with the following: Delivering complex procurement and contract management in digital, technology or other complex commercial environmentsProcurement legislation, commercial policy, governance, contracting, negotiation and supplier management
Managing high-value or business-critical contracts, including complex contractual, financial and legal issues
Developing sourcing or category plans using market insight and commercial analysis
Managing competing priorities and delivering accurate, high-quality outputs to deadline
Stakeholder management and influencing, with the confidence to advise and challenge senior colleagues You'll need to hold or be eligible to obtain BPSS clearance. Interested? Please apply below.
