Logistics Coordinator / Gallery Registrar

Our client, an Art Gallery located in London, are currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator / Registrar to join their team.

Your role as the Logistics Coordinator / Registrar will be to dealing with all internal and external shipping and the distribution of gallery works.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be liaising with shipping companies, customs agents, for set up and dismantle of all events/fairs

Other duties of the Logistics Coordinator / Registrar:

* Using the gallery's databases to track inventory.
* Providing logistical support for all fairs and exhibitions
* Keeping track of all internal, external and fair costs through excel shipping docs.
* Creating condition reports correctly
* Creating Authenticity Certificates
* Coordinating fairs and exhibitions, assisting with setting up and dismantling
* Ensuring the shipping calendar is kept up to date.
* Finding competitive quotes then summarizing them for the sales team
* Receiving invoices from the accounts department
* Checking quotes regarding shipments

The successful Logistics Coordinator / Registrar will have previous experience working within the industry.

You must have experience dealing with the shipping side, as you will be dealing / booking shipments on a daily basis.

You will ideally come from a Gallery background or from a Fine Art / Logistics company that have galleries as clients.

We are keen to speak to candidates who have good negotiation skills and excellent communication skills as you will be negotiating rates and quotes and acting as the main point of contact for the main storage provider.
