Salesforce Technical Architect

We’re looking for an experienced Salesforce Technical Architect to bring a calm, practical approach to architecting complex solutions and help our clients get the best from the Salesforce platform:
Collaborate closely with clients to understand their challenges and translate those into effective technical solutions.
Design and architect robust, scalable solutions that meet the specific requirements of projects.
Guide the implementation process from inception to deployment, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance across the Salesforce platform and downstream systems.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends to provide innovative and forward-thinking recommendations.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing technical expertise and strategic guidance.
Key Duties
Lead on all aspects of the technical design of our project implementations
Be a trusted advisor to our customer’s technical and business stakeholders
Lead on best practices for enterprise architecture covering security, performance, development processes and governance as part of project delivery
Take ownership on the creation of technical design documents and other artefacts that ensure the project is completed successfully and setup for long term success
Be pro-active in helping to manage areas of risk and engaging directly with business stakeholders to unpick and mitigate potential issues upfront
Manage customer expectations; negotiate solutions to complex problems with both the customer and third-party partners; help customers facilitate change
Support the implementation teams with technical guidance, peer-review and mentoring
Contribute to pre-sales activities to help with RFP responses and other business development activities
The role may require occasional travel to clients and to the Giveclarity offices in London
Experience Required
A strong desire to work with non-profits or within the charity sector.
Experience architecting multiple large/complex salesforce implementations, ideally within a consultancy practice.
Salesforce Certified Integration Architect (must have) with experience in multiple integrations to Salesforce and integration patterns.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to a wide range of audience.
Expert level knowledge of the Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud.
Expert level knowledge of, and experience in development with Apex and Lightning Web Components.
Experience of working with Large Data Volume Salesforce orgs and troubleshooting of performance related issues.
Excellent knowledge of Salesforce architecture and understanding of Salesforce ecosystem.
Experience delivering projects using agile Scrum methodology.
Experience of release management and Continuous Integration environments within the Salesforce ecosystem.
Experience of leading the implementation of governance processes and standards.
Strong commercial awareness.
A good degree or post-graduate qualification.
Desirable Experience
Salesforce Certified Identity and Access Management Architect.
A good understanding of other products including Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud.
Experience of working with Salesforce DX and release management capabilities.
Good knowledge of Web Development technologies.
Good knowledge of JavaScript.
Experience in developing Salesforce managed packages.
Experience with version-control tools (e.g. Github, Bitbucket).
Knowledge and/or experience of Agentforce and AI technologies.
Experience of working with Non-profits organisations.
Experience with Salesforce Agentforce Non Profit (Non Profit Cloud) or the legacy NPSP (non profit success pack).
