Retail Supervisor - Full-Time - Covent Garden

The Boutique Store Supervisor will be a positive, energetic, self-starter with a demonstrable track record of hitting and exceeding retail KPIs, helping the Store Manager lead a team of full and part-time retail sales assistants.

This Supervisor role is perfect for someone with a strong natural sales ability, driven to succeed in retail management, and who enjoys an environment where no two days are the same. You will be comfortable managing a range of personalities and situations with employees and customers alike, and will have experience that illustrates this strength.

What the Supervisor will be doing every day:

• Supporting the Boutique Manager with managing the team, store operations (including visual merchandising) and store environment to achieve sales, service, organisation, customer satisfaction and profitability goals and maintain operational standards;
• Working to develop team members by communicating and delivering positive recognition as well as performance management and corrective action as needed;
• Supporting the Boutique Manager with new staff training/onboarding processes;
• Supporting the stock delivery, stock transfer and stock room maintenance processes as needed;
• Supporting the Boutique Manager with supplies orders, banking, and other administrative functions;
• Supporting the Boutique Manager and Head Office with in-store marketing activity and one-off projects.

What Glassworks is looking for:

• A minimum of 2 years' retail sales experience
• Honest, hard-working self-starter with great organisational skills and a keen eye for detail
• A proven ability to deliver excellent customer service, natural leadership skills and a track record of hitting retail KPIs
• IT skills, including using and learning new technologies, Excel, an electronic POS system, barcoding software, and able to sort out basic technology issues independently, etc. Training will be provided.
