Indirect Tax Manager

Job Details

A leading global technology company is seeking a VAT specialist for a 12 month contract position based in London.

The manager will be involved in collaborating with internal stakeholders on ongoing projects such as new product lines or subscription models, contract reviews, or even business restructures

The role will also require engagement with cross-functional tax teams, including direct tax, transfer pricing, tax technology, compliance, and controllership, to develop and implement robust tax solutions aligned with evolving business models.

This opportunity offers exposure to an international tax environment, with regular interaction across UK, EU, and US-based teams.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in engaging directly with business teams to understand commercial objectives and translate them into actionable tax strategies.
• Strong experience in international VAT matters, particularly relating to B2C digital services, is essential.
• Familiarity with B2B transactions and cross-border goods supplies is a plus.
• Has worked in-house in a large multinational business or large professional accounting firm.
