Head of Spanish Desk
Role Overview
Based at our Global Head office in London, this new role is designed to provide a link between our residential operations in Spain with all other areas of the business.
The ideal candidate will have a strong record in agency sales and thrive working in a target-driven environment. They'll be responsible for ensuring effective cross-border communication between buyers, sellers and other stakeholders.
A primary objective of the role is to ensure that our local international partners are aware of the benefits that Savills is uniquely able to offer the market and then ensuring opportunities are followed up and converted into business.
Essentially you'll be joining up the dots to make sure that we are delivering exceptional service to all stakeholders, all of the time.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with our residential offices in Spain to maximise potential business opportunities
- Keep up-to-date with local markets, including stock, activity and wider trends so that you are speak authoritatively on them
- Develop relationships with key people in the business to build trust
- Ensure that leads are followed up with efficiently with positive outcomes
- Become an expert, 'go-to' person for Spain
- Keep our CRM system up-to-date
- Ensure we are compliant and have full information on the properties we are marketing
- Keep a detailed tracker of activity and deliver regular reports to the business
- Provide support to Savills network of international residential associates
- Work on internal and external marketing initiatives
- Visit the Spain offices periodically throughout the year
Key Skills
- Be fluent in Spanish
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
- Be data literate, with the ability to make inferences and spot trends
- Must be a strong communicator with the ability to challenge ideas where necessary
- Be flexible with your approach depending on who you are dealing with and take care in understanding local cultures and practices
- Enjoy delivering successful outcomes both individually and as part of a team
- Knowledge of the Spanish residential market (desirable)
Team Overview
You'll be joining our Global Residential Sales department based in our Margaret Street HQ, sitting within our International Sales Team. This role requires the successful candidate to build effective relationships with the residential team in Spain, including international travel to achieve this throughout the year.
