Junior Account Manager

The Opportunity Hub UK is recruiting for a Junior Account Manager to join a vibrant and collaborative PR agency working with high-profile clients across theatre, opera, visual arts, entertainment and more. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with at least 12 months’ experience in public relations who is ready to take on more responsibility, lead parts of campaigns and build trusted relationships with clients and media. Based in central London, this hybrid role offers four days in the office and one working from home each week on a rotating basis. Here's What You'll Be Doing:- Leading on elements of PR campaigns across a wide range of cultural and entertainment clients
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with journalists, editors, influencers and broadcasters
- Crafting compelling press releases, pitch emails and editorial content
- Securing meaningful media coverage across national, regional and specialist outlets
- Managing day-to-day communication with clients, updating them on progress and campaign outcomes
- Coordinating press events, media calls, launches and interviews
- Monitoring media coverage, preparing reports and evaluating impact
- Supporting social media content and broader communications planning where needed
- Working collaboratively with junior and senior team members to deliver results
- Contributing creatively to campaign planning and strategy development
- At least 12 months’ experience working in a public relations role, ideally at a London agency
- Strong copywriting and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Confidence dealing with clients, media contacts and external partners
- Excellent time management and ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously
- An understanding of how to craft a story and deliver it effectively to different audiences
- Knowledge of arts and cultural media landscape is highly desirable
- Proactive, detail-focused and enthusiastic about delivering great work
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with social media platforms and content planning tools
- Salary of £28,000 – £32,000, depending on experience
- Hybrid working: 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home (rotates weekly)
