Applied AI Process Manager

Job Description

You own the full process transformation design cycle for your industry or function - from assessing how market forces, regulatory shifts, and technology changes are reshaping the landscape, through specifying the future-state process, to defining how people will adopt new ways of working. You're the domain authority on your team: clients and colleagues come to you because of what you know about how this industry or function actually works. You combine business expertise, technical literacy and AI process to drive transformation.

You are AX designing at the intersection of human, agent, and process as part of the transformation work. When you design a future-state process, you naturally consider how AI agent experiences should be shaped to serve both the business outcome and the people working alongside those agents.

THE WORK

Embed AI into future state design for clients as well as in ways of working for your team using the appropriate AI tools and creating agents strategically to aid in deliverable creation.

• Own end-to-end analytics delivery within process transformation engagements - connecting data exploration and insight generation directly to future-state process design; maintain working knowledge of data pipeline concepts, feature engineering, and what makes data reliable for AI-integrated processes, sufficient to lead credible technical conversations with data and engineering teams.
• Design and implement agentic AI solutions where they create genuine value within process work: intelligent automation of analytical workflows, LLM-powered insight synthesis, and autonomous monitoring agents that surface process performance gaps continuously; understand RAG architecture, multi-agent coordination concepts, and when each approach fits the process problem.
• Apply GenAI evaluation frameworks (e.g. RAGAS, LLM-as-judge approaches) when reviewing or signing off AI-integrated process designs - able to assess whether a GenAI or agentic solution is performing well enough to be embedded in a client's process, not just whether it was built correctly.
• Drive responsible design across every engagement - embed human-in-the-loop checkpoints, escalation triggers, autonomy level definitions, and handoff quality standards as integral parts of every process and agentic solution design; apply LLMOps and AgentOps concepts at a working level to understand how solutions will be maintained in production.
• Lead future-state process specification, AI integration design, operating model changes, and adoption planning for your assigned industry or functional area.
• Run client discovery workshops and stakeholder interviews; present and defend recommendations to senior client leadership; manage day-to-day client relationships and issue resolution.
• Drive benchmarking analysis and change-impact assessments grounded in deep knowledge of how your industry or function operates.
• Facilitate design thinking sessions and co-creation workshops with cross-functional client teams.
• Connect operating model to future-state processes to drive transformation approaches that are practical and credible.
• Build and maintain documented redesign methods and playbook contributions for your assigned functional process areas.
• Contribute to business development by qualifying opportunities and co-authoring proposals.
• Coach junior practitioners on process redesign methods, domain-specific trend assessment, and operating model design.

Qualification

EDUCATION

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  

BASIC (REQUIRED) QUALIFICATION

• Experience in process excellence, process redesign, or management consulting
  

• Demonstrated ability to lead client discovery workshops and present recommendations to senior leadership
  

• Proven track record building benchmarking analyses and change-impact assessments
  

• Experience using AI-assisted tools for benchmarking, analytics, or workshop facilitation
  

• Experience designing future-state processes with AI to reinvent the way the work is done (e.g. operating model changes, adoption approaches, etc.)
  

• Previously been integrating AI and automating business process design
  

• Deep expertise scoping and delivering project work in at least one industry domain (e.g., Banking/Capital Markets, Insurance, Software and Platforms, Communications and Media, High Tech, Health, Public Service, Life Sciences, Consumer Goods Retail and Travel, Industrial, Energy, Utilities or Chemical and Natural Resources)
  

• Applied knowledge of AI Design principles - specifying AI agent experiences within process designs, including autonomy levels, escalation triggers, and human-agent handoff quality
  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION

• Understands AI strategy, ecosystem choices and how AI can transform business processes
  

• Demonstrated ability to lead client discovery workshops and present recommendations to senior leadership
  

• Proven track record using AI enabled industry benchmarking analyses and change-impact assessments
  

• Familiarity with process mining or digital twin approaches for process validation
  

• Experience contributing to business development, proposals, or RFP responses
  

• Helps define how teams work differently because of AI and Leads teams of junior practioners on effective use of AI use and AI design principles
  

• Strong executive communication skills; ability to present complex process and technology design decisions in business terms to senior leadership
  

• Experience contributing to business development, proposals, or RFP responses
  

• Applied knowledge of AI Design principles - specifying AI agent experiences within process designs, including autonomy levels, escalation triggers, and human-agent handoff quality
