Caretaker

Blackwall Reach - London

£29,912 - £31,486 per year

40 hours per week – Monday to Friday

We have an opportunity for a Caretaker to join our team in the Blackwall Reach area of London. As a Caretaker you will be responsible for providing a maintenance service by undertaking caretaking and general cleaning of communal areas. The ideal candidate will have either cleaning or caretaking experience and a track record of delivering high quality services, demonstrate a commitment to teamwork and high levels of customer service.

The role of Caretaker will include:

• Grounds maintenance tasks to include litter picking and general upkeep
• Working with customers and responding positively to resolve issues and improve services
• Completing all documents and paperwork concerning tasks completed
• Carrying out Health and Safety Inspections and reporting necessary repairs
• Complying with relevant policies and be Health and Safety orientated
• Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained in a suitable condition
• Ensuring all supplies and stocks are ordered

Skills and experiences:

• Experience in a similar cleaning role or completing similar tasks
• Practical experience in operating hand tools and light machinery
• Some experience of working to deadlines and prioritizing workloads
• Working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
• Good communication and customer care skills
• This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
