In the Global Partnerships finance team our work is an integral part of distributing a huge volume of content to customers across the world. In a fast-paced environment, we play a crucial role in providing the insights needed for strategic decisions across Global Partnerships, whilst also being committed to transparency and ensuring integrity of financial reporting and planning.

The role...

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Finance Manager to join our dynamic Global Partnerships Finance team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the accurate, efficient, and consistent financial recording across all areas of Global Partnerships. This position may occasionally require travel within the UK and to our Hilversum office, along with flexibility in working hours to meet key deadlines.

You will need to be agile to be able to respond to different priorities at different times, but key responsibilities may include:

• Support Financial Controller in standardising and streamlining monthly and transactional processes and reporting
• Line manage one finance analyst
• Complete key month-end tasks for accurate reporting
• Test and implement new systems, ensuring accurate and understood finance postings
• Support the provision proof project to maintain accurate, auditable royalty balances
• Assist in balance sheet reviews and follow-up actions across GP
• Respond to audit queries during interim and year-end reviews
• Report forecast and actual figures to UK and overseas tax teams
• Act as liaison for GFO accountants, explaining GP finance processes as needed
• Implement and supervise financial controls
• Handle ad hoc reporting and information requests

Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)

• Part or fully qualified professional accounting qualification or equivalent experience preferred (e.g. CIMA, ACA)
• Management accounting experience in a media environment across both revenues and costs
• Experience with Oracle Fusion and Smartview

• Numerate and enthusiastic with the desire to learn more
• Well organised and proactive with strong attention to detail
• Strong Microsoft excel skills, experience of using google-docs is an advantage
• Actively seeks to learn about the Global Partnerships business model and aligns activities across Global Partnerships and ITV Studios in general.
• Proactively looks for fresh ideas and embraces new ways of doing things.
• Demonstrates a positive attitude and works with others harnessing diversity of thought to quickly determine how to deliver desirable outcomes.
• Seeks to understand the difference between a good and outstanding result to improve contribution.
• Strives to understand what others do across own team and other areas actively exploring with them how to contribute to each others' success.
• Responds quickly to refocus on priorities, checking in with manager regularly to ensure key deadlines are reached
