Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons to students in accordance with the national curriculum
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and fosters a love for Maths
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support for their academic development
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the design and implementation of the Maths curriculum
• Utilize various teaching methodologies and resources to cater to the diverse needs of students
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns

Requirements

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Maths or a related field
• Proven experience teaching Maths in a primary or secondary school setting
• Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and its application to Maths education
• Strong ability to plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons
• Effective classroom management skills, with the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
• A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for staying up-to-date with current educational practices
