Freelance Designer

Freelance Designer | Harts Group | Soho, London

We’re looking for a creative, detail-loving Freelance Designer to support our brilliant team across various design projects. You’ll help shape how our restaurants and internal teams show up visually, keeping everything from menus to presentations on-brand and looking great.

The Freelance Designer role

• Freelance Designer Day rate DOE
• Flexible freelance contract based on project needs, average of 2–3 days per month TBC
• Ideally 1–2 years’ experience in a Designer role within the hospitality industry or lifestyle brand
• Be a brilliant team player who brings positivity, empathy, and respect to the table
• Great experience using Adobe InDesign, Canva, Illustrator, and PowerPoint
• Confident designing for both print and digital, including polished business reports, board packs, and partner presentations with a professional finish
• Great eye for layout, typography, and creating clean, easy-to-read documents
• Able to pick up brand guidelines quickly and keep everything cohesive
• Updating and formatting menus (food, wine, cocktails)
• Adapting marketing materials like flyers and postcards
• Designing reports, board packs, and professional presentations
• Creating training guides and HR documents that are visually engaging and easy to navigate
• Standardising and converting all existing company materials into a cohesive and professional visual identity
• Bringing a unified look and feel to our internal comms and external assets
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills – you’ll be representing our brand, so warmth and professionalism are a must
• Comfortable juggling multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment, always with care and attention to detail
• Always showing a strong team ethic and empathy for your colleagues
• Be the face of a Group known for its warm welcome
