Your responsibilities:
Service standards:
● Have complete knowledge of facilities, room rates, promotions and hours of operation so that you can positively approach sales opportunities.
● Handle all guest enquiries and special requests to standard.
● Ensure the atmosphere of the Club compliments the time of day/night: lighting, music, furniture.
● Ensure you and the team positively approach sales opportunities in order to maximise revenue by making informed recommendations based on in-depth knowledge of the menus (including preparation techniques and accompaniments).
● Record all sales transactions accurately and according to procedures; at the end of the night check the till, float and complete a cash up.
● Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep.
● Report any faulty equipment, machinery and service-ware correctly.
● Ensure all areas are closed and secured at the end of each night shift.
● Encourage and respond to guest feedback accordingly.
Business development:
● Share ideas that may enable the achievement and surpassing of financial targets.
Budget control:
● Effectively manage our people systems (such as Fourth) and ensure rotas are kept up to date according to business levels.
● Ensure accurate financial reporting, including bedroom revenue management, rate yielding, forecasting and sales opportunities.
● Manage daily accounting, cash handling and credit procedures, ensuring the team adhere to them at all times.
