Nanny

A returning Kindred family is looking for someone proactive and organised to join them from April. The family can be flexible on this for the right nanny. The role involves caring for their two active boys, ages 9 and 7.

This is a combined nanny/PA position covering 45 hours per week. During term time, the core hours with the children will be 4pm-8:30pm, with the remaining hours dedicated to PA work that can be completed either at the family's home or the candidate's home. During school holidays, the schedule remains at 45 hours weekly, and the family offers flexibility for the right candidate as PA duties will still need to be completed during this time.

The ideal candidate is experienced and organised. The PA aspect primarily relates to the children, though some family errands will be expected. The nanny won't cook for the children but will create weekly meal plans and communicate these to the family's cleaner. Afternoon duties include picking the boys up from school - they attend the same school, which is a 10-minute cycle away. Confidence on a bicycle is essential! The family has a bike available for the nanny's use.

It's important to the family that the nanny's main focus is spending quality time with the boys - helping with homework, reading, and implementing developmental and educational activities. The family owns a beautiful countryside house in France where they spend 6 weeks during summer. They would love the nanny to join them, though not necessarily for the entire period, and are flexible about arrangements for the right candidate. They have local nannies who help with the boys, and Dad usually finishes work around midday, meaning the nanny would never work a full day with the children. For this reason, French language skills would be an added bonus! In addition, the family travels occasionally, and a nanny willing to accompany them would be appreciated.

The family has a beautiful 11-year-old dog that everyone adores! Both boys are very active and love being outdoors, and overall the family is excited to welcome a new nanny into their home!
