Key Responsibilities & Candidate Profile

In this full-time role, with a targeted January start, you will:

• Instruction & Attainment: Deliver inspirational and rigorous lessons in Art and Design (covering areas like painting, drawing, sculpture, and digital media) across Key Stage 3 (KS3), GCSE (KS4) , and A-Level (KS5) .
• Engagement & Pedagogy: Employ engaging and differentiated teaching strategies particularly suited to motivating boys, translating technical skills into creative confidence.
• Curriculum Development: Contribute actively to the refinement of a challenging curriculum that encourages conceptual thinking and technical mastery across diverse media.
• Exhibition & Enrichment: Oversee and manage student entries for exhibitions, competitions, and internal displays, running an active co-curricular club (e.g., photography, printmaking).
• Timeliness: Be available and prepared to commence this permanent role in January .
