Assistant Supply & Demand Planner

To be our Assistant Supply & Demand Planner you’ll have a desire to learn about all elements of our supply chain, working within a supply and demand planning function where on time supply availability is critical to business success. You will have excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills & work alongside a team to assist with developing and implementing innovative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness in the planning process. As well as having strong analytical capability with numbers & data, you’ll be a strong team player, and be passionate about engaging with a variety of stakeholders, supporting the wider Supply Chain and Commercial teams. THE GIG Key responsibilities include: Demand and Supply Planning
  • Support Regional PO execution and release, ensuring the alignment by channel and location down to a size level.
  • Support planners in maintenance of demand and supply parameters in Supply and Demand Planning System (Blue Yonder).
  • Assist planners with monitoring changes to demand plan at each cycle and any outstanding gaps/risks that need resolving.
Inventory
  • Ensuring an accurate stock position (on hand and intake) in D365 & in Supply and Demand Planning System (Blue Yonder).
  • Closely monitor the bulk PO delivery schedule. Identify risks of overstock or stockouts and propose solutions to mitigate supply chain disruptions ensuring optimised inventory availability across D2C and B2B channels.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
  • Managing existing reporting tools to monitor availability & ensure visibility of KPIs to the business.
  • Support adhoc reporting requirements.
  • Support planners in in identifying and implementing improvements to processes and ways of working.
Cross functional collaboration
  • Work closely with the wider Operations teams, commercial, product teams to stay aligned on demand forecast changes and business priorities.
  • Travel may be required across our various sites

  • Ability to analyse data accurately and quickly whilst also develop effective business relationships
  • Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on Excel
  • Desire to learn about Business Intelligence, Forecasting and Planning systems
  • Ability to work to project/change deadlines and business targets in a high-pressure environment
  • You are comfortable using an array of IT programmes and you know how to present information to make it accessible for all
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken; ability to work well with a variety of people across departments and regions
