Senior Consultant, Salesforce Functional Lead / Senior Business Analyst - GPS, Deloitte Digital
- Perform business analysis and solution design activities across Discovery and Implementation project phases.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders across different functions to gather and analyse requirements for Salesforce solutions.
- Lead a team to design and documentation of scalable and compliant solutions to meet business needs.
- Collaborate with client Product Owners in the creation and upkeep of product backlogs, acting as a trusted advisor to provide recommendations based on understanding of business need, value drivers, process expertise and Salesforce functional knowledge.
- Plan and execute engaging, high quality functional workshops to elicit business needs.
- Manage design scope.
- Create and execute workstream plans.
- Assist in the management of project delivery across end-to-end project lifecycle including change management, hypercare, testing and knowledge transfer.
- Identify, raise, manage and mitigate workstream and cross-workstream risks and issues.
- Develop and manage a high performing workstream team to deliver high quality value to our clients.
- Perform current and target state process design, including how business / organisational processes are enabled by technology.
- Create product and capability roadmaps that incorporate factors such as business priority, logical order of build, architectural transition states, timelines and cost, aligned to the service blueprint.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and Salesforce product releases, evaluating and recommending new features and functionalities to enhance employee and customer/citizen experiences.
- Support RFP responses and other pre-sales activities.
- Background in client-facing Functional Lead / Senior Business Analyst roles on large scale, digital transformation programmes within the public sector, enabled by Salesforce.
- Experience in both Discovery and Implementation project phases.
- Experience in designing, leading and managing delivery teams, using Agile-based delivery frameworks.
- Experience in delivering, and managing junior team members to deliver, high quality key artefacts including design blueprints, process documentation, user stories and acceptance criteria, user personas etc.
- Experience in the end-to-end technology delivery lifecycle, including a good understanding of the roles, responsibilities and skillsets required within each workstream.
- Good understanding of the public sector ways of working, including adherence to public sector specific processes and alignment of solutions to Government Digital Service Standard (GDS).
- Strong experience in gathering and documenting business requirements through a variety of methods (including workshops, interviews, qualitative and quantitative data analysis).
- Experience with product roadmap definition.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to define, effectively document and confidently present recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Experience managing relationships with senior leadership, both technical and business.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant or equivalent) are essential; experience and certifications in Public Sector Solutions, Health Cloud, Non Profit Cloud and Education Cloud or equivalent preferred.
- Experience collaborating across other programme workstreams including data and migration, integration, project management, architecture build, testing and release, to manage risk and ensure end to end delivery success.
- Core project management experience, including management of risks, issues, actions and dependencies, as well as workstream level planning.
- Experience in mentoring and coaching junior talent.
- Experience contributing to RFP responses and other pre-sales activities (e.g. storyboarding, research, demo set ups, pre-sales conversations, estimations, high level solution design etc.; contribution to pricing and resource planning activities).
- Ability to travel (potentially abroad) to client sites 80-100% of the time.
- Must be immediately eligible for Security Check (SC) clearance, if not already holding an existing clearance that is equal to or above SC clearance.
