VP Regulatory Liquidity Reporting Controller

A leading global financial services organisation is seeking a Vice President Regulatory Liquidity Reporting Controller to join their London–based Finance Division. This role offers you the opportunity to work within a highly collaborative and knowledgeable team, connecting with colleagues across international locations. You will play a pivotal part in ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting business objectives through accurate liquidity reporting.

What you'll do:

• Validate and submit numerous regulatory returns internally and externally on daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly cycles, covering PRA110, LCR, ALMM, NSFR, and Asset Encumbrance reporting requirements.
• Manage the review, challenge, and submission process for key regulatory reports such as PRA110 on a weekly basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Support teams in Mumbai by overseeing the production of all Regulatory Liquidity Reporting metrics used for Risk Appetite monitoring purposes.
• Prepare detailed commentaries and management information related to liquidity flows across multiple regimes (PRA, EBA, JFSA), explaining key variances and trends.
• Propose enhancements to IT systems for improved automation and control within liquidity reporting processes, leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT) initiatives.
• Maintain and review procedures for the end–to–end control and governance framework underpinning Regulatory Liquidity Reporting activities.
• Assist in building new management information tools and controls to enhance the timeliness and accuracy of regulatory reporting outputs.
• Provide interpretation, guidance, and challenge regarding PRA, EBA, and JFSA liquidity regulations in partnership with the EMEA Regulatory Policy group.
• Act as a key liaison between Regulatory Reporting teams, Treasury Liquidity Management, Change/Project teams, Regulatory Policy groups, and IT departments.
• Balance competing demands across multiple initiatives by consistently meeting deadlines through effective time management and prioritisation.

What you bring:

• Liquidity experience gained within an investment banking environment performing solo entity level reporting including production and validation of PRA ILG (PRA110), LCR, ALMM, Asset Encumbrance & NSFR returns.
• Detailed knowledge of both PRA & EBA liquidity regulations along with comprehensive understanding of reporting guidance relevant to these frameworks.
• Familiarity with JFSA Basel III liquidity rules would be considered highly advantageous for this position.
• Investment banking product knowledge encompassing secured financing, unsecured products & derivatives as well as front–to–back trade lifecycle expertise impacting liquidity reporting outcomes.
• Strong IT literacy combined with advanced analytical and numerical skills enabling you to interpret complex data sets efficiently.
• Experience using big data analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI or Alteryx would be beneficial for enhancing reporting capabilities.
• Previous experience as a Regulatory Reporting Controller is essential for success in this role given the technical demands involved.
• Results–focused approach demonstrated under pressurised environments with tight reporting deadlines requiring effective prioritisation skills.
• Regulatory Reporting software experience (e.g., AXIOM) would be advantageous for streamlining submission processes.
• Experience with EBA/PRA submission processes including XBRL wrappers, taxonomy specifications & validation resolution is desirable.
