The role
We are looking for highly skilled software engineers in test automation that on top of that are passionate about sharing our culture and values that we believe in.
You will be part of a cross-functional agile team (typically 6-10 people) working together to build micro-services for the FDJ United platform.
The tech organisation is driven by our company's purpose “To transform gambling to ensure fair play, the best deal and a great experience for our players”. FDJ United is one of the largest online gambling companies in the world with over 20 million customers across 100 markets. The platform supports a portfolio of brands like Unibet, Maria Casino etc. We are a customer focused and fast paced organisation.

- Restful API's and socket-based API's
- Kafka/Solace Queue/RabbitMQ or similar
- Oracle, Couchbase
- Git, Maven, Docker, Kubernetes
- Continuous Integration and Delivery
- Best development practices
- Agile and lean values
- JavaScript & Cypress knowledge would be a plus
What you will do
- “You Design it, You Build It, You Test It, You Run It, You Tweak It” this is our ethos and you will be expected to take part of the full software life cycle to ensure reliability and up-time of the production environment
- You will participate in design discussions with your colleagues to find great solutions to complex engineering challenges
- You will discuss with architects on upcoming projects and propose solutions as needed

Your experience
- As an experienced test automation engineer, you can drive technical solutions from design to production
- You create test automation for scalable software in a distributed architecture
- You think about what is good for the products in the long term when you make design decisions
- You help set the technical expectations on the whole team by both producing and setting high expectations on the team delivery
- You help mentor and onboard new team members
- You are a role model in behaviour (communication, collaboration – within and across teams) with a positive mindset
- You are proactive in communication towards all stakeholders including team
- You are experienced at solving challenging problems in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- You are passionate and experienced with backend testing but are not hesitant to explore frontend testing as well
Ensure that you adhere to the Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) obligations for your role.
- Identify and raise any non-compliance incidents promptly to your line manager.
- Challenge processes, policies and projects that will negatively impact compliance within the Group.
- Complete all mandatory compliance training assigned to you.
- Reach out to the Compliance Teams if unsure of any of your compliance obligations or the requirements are unclear.
