Front office Software Engineer – Algo Trading, C++/C#

Quant Capital is urgently looking for talented Front office Software Engineer to join our high profile client.

Our client is a well-known algo-trading technology and agency brokerage/execution business. They are known in the market for some of their best-in-class services and products. They are well established with offices in over 13 countries but do not resemble a typical clunky, bureaucratic corporate. They retain an energetic tech firm feel and open environment but with the financial stability of a corporate.The company is passionate about innovation, technology and solving problems and that echoes through from the traders to the technologists.

This critical role sits in a small team of some of the best developers around, they are considered the Commando or Seal team Operators of the firm. The ALGO team are responsible for a large share of the revenue generated; there is a lot of capital at steak which comes with great responsibility and trust.

This role is a huge opportunity for a hungry developer to make a mark in a leading financial technology business.

Front office Software Engineer MUST have:

Computer Science Degree from a Top Tier University (top 20 UK) or relevant experience
Front office experience in an Investment Bank of another financial institution
World class development skills in C++ and or C#
Good scripting (Python, Ruby, Lua)
A track record of commitment to their employer
Experience developing algos or at least good logic, especially within finance
A team player
You will be looking to develop in a fast paced, with good attention to detail in a challenging environment. The flat hierarchy creates high visibility for top performers, and the opportunity to see contribution impact the bottom line.
