About Growth Kitchen:

Growth Kitchen is on a mission to transform how the world eats, by bringing amazing restaurant experiences to the homes of millions of underserved customers across the UK. We do this by enabling underused hospitality businesses to sell well-known restaurant brands such as The Athenian and Coqfighter on delivery apps, from their existing kitchens.

The role:

This is an incredible opportunity to join an exciting, high-growth scale-up at the intersection of hospitality and food-tech. In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving several strategic initiatives at the intersection of our brand and host network. You will work with team members across several functions including operations, growth marketing and product, and will have full ownership over several strategic projects, from exploration stages to execution and implementation. This is an incredibly diverse role that offers a 360-view on our business, exposure to top leaders and executives in UK hospitality & food tech, and provides unparalleled learning opportunities. You’ll be a key part in scaling GK across the UK and beyond, and will be offered strong career progression as we grow.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Helping to drive growth: working closely with leadership and partner brands to optimise existing sales channels for Growth Kitchen locations, implementing strategies to maximize take-up and revenue generation
• Shaping new commercial initiatives: you'll actively identify and assess new market opportunities, contributing directly to our go-to-market strategies and unlocking new revenue streams
• Going deep on operational excellence: you'll collaborate closely with operations and product teams to design and implement effective systems and tools that streamline our kitchen processes and elevate quality control across our network
• Managing vendor relationships: developing and managing relationships with key technology vendors and ensuring seamless integration and compliance across our platforms
• Cross-functional collaboration: leveraging insights from operations, product, data, and growth to continually enhance our offering and impact key business areas

Requirements

Who you are:

• Excited to wear many hats: You're keen to immerse yourself in an early-stage company, gaining exposure to most teams, founders, industry leaders, and quickly become an expert across several key functions
• People-centric and collaborative: there are several layers of stakeholders that are all core to our product and go-to-market. You enjoy engaging with customers, fostering relationships with founders, brand owners, kitchen operators, and delivery service providers, and translating business goals into sustained brand success
• Technologically adept: you're comfortable researching, navigating and adapting to new tech systems, understanding how these tools enable operational efficiency, and able to explain it to multiple stakeholders
• Action over motion: you love to get your hands dirty and get things done, collaborating with an array of internal and external teams at speed
• Organized and detail-oriented: for us to successfully achieve our ambitious goals, there's a lot to do. You love getting stuff done, are organized, able to handle actions autonomously, and care about the details
• A frequent diner and food delivery app user: You have strong insights into and opinions on the customer experience

Experience required:

• 3+ years experience in a high-growth, fast-paced environment - experience in hospitality, delivery, or retail operations is useful but not essential
• Experience managing projects or initiatives end-to-end, with varied levels of support – a self-starter attitude is crucial!
• Experience identifying and solving problems - we’re looking for someone who’s taken the leap on starting or solving something before
• Willingness to learn and figure things out, asking questions and being open to coaching
• Comfortable working with founders, managing complex projects, and navigating multiple stakeholders
• Fluent in English and right to work in the UK is a must
