An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Principal Mechanical Engineer to join a well-established, multidisciplinary engineering consultancy with over 1,000 employees and more than 70 years of industry experience. With plans to double its headcount in the London office over the next two years, this company offers a rare chance to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the business. As part of a smaller, close-knit team, you'll enjoy an entrepreneurial environment where you'll be given significant ownership of projects and the chance to take on leadership responsibilities from the outset.


The company works across a diverse range of sectors, including commercial, residential, healthcare, and education. With a varied workload, no two days will be the same, and you'll be instrumental in delivering cutting-edge engineering solutions.


In this role, you'll not only need to demonstrate strong technical expertise but also be confident in engaging directly with clients. You will be expected to guide them through the design process, ensuring their needs are met while maintaining a high standard of technical delivery. The ability to manage and deliver projects to completion will be key to your success. They also offer flexible working 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
