Role Overview

As a Working Foreman, you will play a key dual role: carrying out hands-on site duties while supervising trades, coordinating works, and ensuring projects run smoothly. You will oversee daily operations on residential refurbishment sites across London, ensuring standards, timelines, and safety requirements are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, supervise, and work alongside trades on residential refurb projects.

Coordinate day-to-day site activities and ensure smooth workflow.

*

Maintain high-quality workmanship and ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.

*

Liaise with clients, project managers, and subcontractors professionally.

*

Monitor progress against programme and report any issues or delays.

*

Ensure all health & safety policies, RAMS, and site standards are adhered to.

*

Order materials, manage deliveries, and maintain site cleanliness and organisation.

*

Carry out hands-on carpentry, basic building works, or general construction tasks as required.

Experience & Skills Required

*

Proven experience as a Working Foreman or Site Foreman within residential refurbishment.

*

Strong practical skills (carpentry or multi-trade background preferred).

*

Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

*

Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.

*

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

*

Valid CSCS card; SSSTS/SMSTS desirable.

*

Full right to work in the UK.
