People Administrator

The People Administrator works within the People Team to deliver a first class HR operations service to the business, supporting all employees and prospective candidates. Along with the People Operations Manager, they will ensure that the people processes are accurate, efficient and legally compliant and that the HR system (Hibob) and associated systems are maintained and used efficiently. They will administer the full spectrum of employee lifecycle activities, from on-boarding to off-boarding and everything in between.
You'll be;
- Maintaining the day to day of the HR system (Hibob), including providing guidance on its functionality to employees and managers on topics including holiday, sickness and guidelines.
- Monitoring the shared People Services mailbox responding to general HR queries escalating to the People Business Partner or People Advisor or People Operations Manager as necessary.
- Preparing monthly payroll reports including new starters, leavers, contract changes and sickness and support the Finance team with processing the Payroll.
- Managing all of the onboarding, offboarding, contract changes and other people administration - including initiating and supporting on new employee background checks with our third party provider.
- Looking after the administration of all our benefits (Private Medical Insurance, Group Life Cover, Corporate Gym Membership).
- Providing advice on standard HR processes and guidelines (holiday, sickness and other key policies).
- Organising and setting up the Jellycat Induction (1 st and 3 rd Thursdays of the month)
- Coordinating exit interview processes and producing analysis of reasons for leaving.
- Contributing to process improvements and policy updates.
- Doing other HR related tasks
You'll have;
- Ideally 1 or more years’ experience in a generalist HR Administration role.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- A good working knowledge of HR process and procedures.
- An appreciation and understanding of employment law relevant to the role.
- The ability to be an efficient and organised worker.
- Flexibility and a collaborative nature
- A genuine interest in solving-problems and finding solutions.
- Confident in being clear communicator with people at all levels.
- A natural ability to build rapport and gain trust.
- Experience of using Hibob (advantage but not essential)
- A ‘customer first’ approach
