What does work experience with us look like?
Don’t worry - you won’t be stuck making tea and coffee! We’ve created a rich and exciting work experience programme to help students maximise their time with us. We know that a week or two can fly by in no time, so we want to make every day count.
As part of your work experience, you will:
- Spend time at one of our locations, learning from experienced mentors about the areas that interest you
- Get hands-on experience working on real projects
- Develop key skills that will help you with future accountancy applications
- Network with our colleagues, trainees, and other work-experience students
- Gain a deeper understanding of what you want from your career, as well as how to get there
After your work experience placement, you’ll have plenty of contacts in the field to ask for advice in the future, and if you ever need a reference for a future job, we’d be happy to provide it. Likewise, you’ll be in a great position to apply to one of our early career positions. This is a chance to get your foot in the door and make an impression where it counts.

Benefits
- Family leave: Full support and 18 weeks full pay for maternity and adoption leave, inclusive of statutory maternity and adoption pay, and two weeks full pay paternity leave for eligible team members.
- Fully supported training and CPD: Continuous learning support to help develop skills and long-term goals through mentoring, coaching, technical and soft skill training.
- Death in service: Insured benefit available to all team members up to the age of 65, four times annual salary. Conditions apply.

- Permanent health insurance: Permanent health insurance is available to eligible team members who have one years continuous service. Conditions apply.

- Enhanced sickness entitlement: Four weeks full pay followed by four weeks half pay.
