The Role

The school is seeking a dedicated and detail-focused Attendance Officer to improve and maintain high levels of student attendance.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and track student attendance and punctuality

• Analyse attendance data and identify trends

• Work with pastoral teams to support students

• Liaise with parents and external agencies

• Conduct attendance meetings and interventions

• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance

Requirements

• Experience in a school or attendance-related role

• Strong data analysis and organisational skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to build relationships with students and families

• Knowledge of attendance procedures and safeguarding
