Based in Warninglid, this Portuguese speaking Housekeeper role isn’t your typical routine job… it’s a lifestyle position where your work directly shapes the standard of a private estate, with real downtime built in when the property is unoccupied.

Your responsibilities as Portuguese speaking Housekeeper

Maintain a consistently high standard of cleanliness and presentation across all areas of the home
Manage daily housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, ironing, and linen care
Prepare rooms, including bed making and turndown service during busy periods
Support meal service, including basic food preparation and clearing
Welcome visitors, manage deliveries, and report maintenance issues
Work closely with other household staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
What we’re looking for in a Housekeeper

Fluent Portuguese language skills (essential)
Previous experience working within a private household or similar environment
Strong knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and fabric care
Ability to work flexibly across changing schedules and longer working days when required
Confidence supporting service and basic food preparation tasks
Working hours
Average 48 hours per week across two structured patterns:

Pattern A (Busy periods)

12 hours per day
6 days per week
Likely for around 25 weeks per year, broken in to blocks of trips
Pattern B (Quieter periods)

8 hours per day
3–4 days per week in rotation
Likely for around 27 weeks per year, broken into blocks of vacancy.
Both patterns include a lunch break and shorter breaks depending on the day’s tasks. Weekend work may be required.
