Employment Lawyer

Job Details

A local authority based in London is seeking an Employment Lawyer for an initial period of three months. This is a locum position to start ASAP.

Employment Lawyers within the council are expected to carry a full caseload from the outset. You will deal with both contentious and non-contentious matters. The contentious work will involve employment tribunal matters. Non-contentious matters will include equal pay, redundancy, TUPE, discrimination, disciplinary and grievance issues, whistleblowing and drafting and negotiating settlement agreements.

You must have a PC to be considered for the role. Local government experience is highly advantageous.

This is a hybrid working role. Candidates will be required to attend the office on a weekly basis.
