SEN Teacher
SEN Teacher 📍 Romford, Essex 💷 Competitive Daily Rate / Salary DOE 🕒 Full-Time Position 📅 Start Date: ASAP We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a supportive specialist setting based in Romford. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SEN professional who is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of young people with additional needs. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting students with a range of Special Educational Needs, with an MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties) or SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties) background being highly desirable. The Role:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs
- Supporting students with additional learning and behavioural needs
- Creating a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
- Working closely with support staff, therapists, and parents/carers
- Monitoring student progress and adapting teaching strategies accordingly
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS or equivalent)
- Previous SEN teaching experience
- MLD or SLD experience preferred
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Passionate, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one
