The role
Working in the Landscape Planning sector, every day will be different. You’ll be on-hard to assist with the delivery of quality reporting and have plenty of contact with our clients.

This will include: initial feasibility/opportunities and constraints analysis; LVA; LVIA’s; EIA’s and strategic landscape proposals.
The tasks you’ll come across will be varied, to say the least… You will juggle a combination of juicy urban and rural projects you can sink your teeth into, work alongside our in-house ecology, GBI and arboriculture teams to broaden your knowledge and build relationships both with clients and stakeholders alike.
In addition, you will be given training and mentorship opportunities to take your career forward.
What we're looking for:
- Academic qualifications in a relevant subject
- Minimum of four years’ experience and either CMLI or registered on the Pathway to Chartership would be desirable
- Excellent verbal communication, project management and written skills
- Proficient in carrying out LVIAs and LVAs, including input into landscape design / mitigation strategies
- Experience in EIA
- A good understanding of legislative and planning policy framework
- Experience in providing due diligence advice to clients in respect to landscape character and visual matters
- Experience liaising with clients, statutory bodies and LPAs
- Full UK driving licence to enable site work
- The icing on the cake for us would be:
- Desire to mentor team members
- Track record of business development and winning own work
- Involvement or assistance with Public Inquiry work would be an advantage
If you need any additional support from us during the application process, please reach out to [email protected] or include this in your application itself, as we are committed to ensuring that every candidate has equitable access to our opportunities.
