Waldorf Astoria London - Admiralty Arch is seeking a Pastry Commis Chef to join the pre-opening team for this highly anticipated new luxury hotel opening later this year.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced luxury hospitality leader to join the founding team and help shape the guest experience at this landmark hotel.

Located at the end of The Mall opposite Buckingham Palace, Waldorf Astoria London - Admiralty Arch will feature 100 elegant rooms and suites and 17,500 sqft of private residences. The hotel will open with two signature restaurants - Coreus by Clare Smyth and Caf Boulud by Daniel Boulud - bringing together two of the world's most celebrated Michelin-starred chefs. Guests will also enjoy a world-class spa, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, and a collection of grand event spaces, including a ballroom for up to 320 guests.

We are looking for hospitality professionals who are passionate about delivering an exceptional fives star guest experience, consistently upholding the worldclass service standards recognised by Forbes.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

A Pastry Commis Chef work alongside the Pastry team to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Ensure all food preparation meets standards for the Full Afternoon Tea/Restaurant & Private Dining Events
• Daily Briefing for all relevant menus, dietary and specific request.
• Liaise with the Pastry team to create new recipes & ideas.
• Assist in positive outcomes from guest queries in a timely and efficient manner.
• Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships.
• Assist & lead the Pastry team in the training of all staff in compliance of company procedures.

What are we looking for?

A Pastry Commis Chef serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

• A minimum of 2 years of previous experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie
• Strong team leader, passionate & Creative
• NVQ Level 2/3
• Achieved Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work on own or in teams
