Luggage Porter
Description
Millennium Hotel and Conference Centre Gloucester London is seeking a Luggage Porter Escort guests to rooms, assists with luggage, provides information and services to guests and patrons in accordance with Millennium Gloucester’s standards, policies and procedures, perform tasks as delegated by the Concierge on duty.
Requirements
Luggage Porter Key Responsibilities will include:
- To escort arriving guests, as required, then proceed to luggage lift to retrieve guest luggage (from claim check provided from the receptionist) and proceed to guest room to continue check-in procedure.
- Ensure guest room is in order, describe location of TV control, air conditioning control, guest services directory, etc to guests checking in; report any deficiencies or guest dissatisfaction at once to the Manager on duty.
- Describe all hotel services to guests; provide other information as may be required; follows up on information requested if not known.
- Page guests as required, deliver messages, packages or other items to guestrooms or other areas of the hotel as required.
- Assist departing guests with their luggage and transportation arrangements, by picking up luggage from guest rooms, and checking it, or bringing it to the entrance, loading it in the taxi/car, etc, as required by the guest.
