Credit Manager - Emerging Markets

I am searching for a highly experienced Credit Manager to lead the assessment and monitoring of credit risk across a diverse portfolio, including project finance, structured facilities, and corporate or financial institution exposures. You will be responsible for independent analysis of new credit applications, amendments, waivers, and annual reviews, supported by financial modelling and direct engagement with counterparties. The Credit Manager will produce clear, risk-focused recommendations for credit and portfolio committees and work closely with the Investment Team to ensure smooth transaction execution from application through to documentation.

Ongoing portfolio oversight is essential, with a focus on identifying early warning indicators and ensuring timely reviews in line with credit policy. The successful candidate will provide strategic insights into credit risks across emerging markets, contribute to the development of credit policies and risk models (ECL, PD, LGD), and support IFRS 9 compliance.

Experience in emerging markets is critical, along with the ability to coach teams on credit concepts and foster a strong risk culture. The role also includes analysis of stressed assets and delivery of lessons learned. International travel will be required to support business development and client engagement.
