We are delighted to be working on a fantastic opportunity to join a highly respected and well-known Central London law firm who are looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Property Partner or an ambitious Senior Associate / Legal Director to join their flourishing and busy team.

Our client is a dynamic and entrepreneurial outfit who are known for punching well above their weight and who regularly act opposite major City firms on high-value and complex real estate matters. They tend to attract Partners from leading City and Mayfair Firms. For a Partner, this opportunity offers a potential full-equity entry level as well as the possibility of taking on leadership of the department in the near future.

For a non-Partner this offers immediate Partner level entry.

The Real Estate Practice

The firm’s real estate team is one of the most prominent departments within the firm and handles a wide spectrum of property work, including:

• Major development projects – large-scale, often high-profile, schemes across London and the South East
• Commercial investment – acquisitions and disposals for a broad investor base
• Landlord and Tenant matters – for well-known national and international retailers and property companies
• Hotels work
• Real Estate Finance – supported by a first-rate banking and finance team
• Prime Central London residential – transactions involving high-value assets for private clients and family offices
• Full ancillary support – including planning , construction , and property litigation , all handled by strong teams

Their clients include well-known developers, retailers, hotels, institutional investors, and HNW individuals. The team frequently works on transactions involving leading City firms.

This opportunity is suited for:

A Commercial Property Partner looking for a firm with a collaborative, strategic and progressive environment – and a platform to lead and grow; For the right candidate, there is potential to step straight into full equity . Or a Senior Associate or Legal Director with a following or client base who is ready for the step into partnership , with immediate consideration available.

The incoming individual will be UK Qualified with a pedigree of having recently worked at a leading International, National, Regional of Central London Firm.

They will become:

• Integrated with the firm’s key clients;
• Given full support to build and grow their practice;
• Encouraged to take a leadership role within the department.

The suitable applicants will currently be Partners or senior non-Partners working in commercial property, ideally with broad experience across development, investment, and landlord & tenant work.

A modest client following or active work stream, and a track record of winning, developing and retaining clients is a pre-requisite together with the confidence to manage major projects and relationships. Experience acting opposite or alongside leading City or West End firms will be highly valued.
